Virus: Computer viruses act like human virus: they can severely damage PCs and laptops the way they clone inside the system, taking over the hard drive as well as interrupting the operations / processes running and spreading infection from one system to the other. Worm: Worm falls under sub class of virus. These worms can travel from one computer to other by using information transport feature of computer systems. It can easily replicate itself in any system. Trojan Horse:Trojan horse is a coded program. This malware appears as useful software; but once it installs and runs in any computer system, it starts damaging them. Some Trojan horse codes are only annoying while some others can cause severe damage to PC.

Description:
Trend Micro has received numerous samples of this worm spreading in the wild.
This Trojan arrives on a system as a file dropped or downloaded by other malware.
Upon execution, it exploits a vulnerability in Microsoft Word wherein a specially-crafted document can cause the application to drop and execute an embedded .EXE file. More information about the said vulnerability can be found on the following Microsoft page:
Microsoft Security Bulletin MS06-027
Once this Trojan successfully exploits the mentioned vulnerability, it is able to execute a shell code which, in turn, drops and runs the embedded .EXE file. Trend Micro detects the said embedded .EXE file as BKDR_AGENT.GIS. The said dropping routine may allow the said backdoor to perform its malicious routines on the affected system.

Hi there,
Unfortunately it sounds you have been infected with Trojan Dropper:
http://virusinfo.prevx.com/pxparall.asp?PXC=0c0e42929511
AVG and Spybot are useless against these types of infection.
The best and easiest way to remove this is by installing the Free Trial of Prevx1. This will scan your PC and remove this and any other infections free of charge.

The other night I clicked on a link in someone's question on this site, and there was a Trojan.I have McAfee anti-virus software, and it detected it and blocked it.It still messed up a lot of things, but I ran a virus scan, and my PC was clean,so I reckon McAfee must be pretty good.

trojans harvest your personal data an dsend it to the web where the people who created it can access it... yes a restore should get rid of it... most anti virus software won't catch it. good luck.
