I'm trying to connect my laptop to my tv. My laptop has a 7 pin s-video output and my tv takes 4 pin s video and the three color coded connectors. I want a simple cable that can transfer video and sound but I don't know where to get it. All I find is the 4 pin-video to 4 pin s-video.

I replaced my CD writer with a DVD writer a couple of days ago. I burned a DVD or two then. The day after when I tried to turn on the computer it shut down itself after a couple of seconds. after a couple of tries it worked again and I used the PC for like two hours. The day after this repeated again and I couldn't turn the PC on. I disconnected the DVD writer and my CD ROM (suspecting power insufficiency) and tried again and the PC just went off automatically after like 2-3 seconds every time. What do you think id the problem?

If I wanted to save my files and photos on two partitions on my harddisk on that PC what should I do? My wife will kill me if I can not revive our photos!

Hiya,
I reinstalled Windows last night, but didn't look at what drivers I had...

I've run into an audio problem. I have connected it to an LCD screen with speakers but the computer doesn't have any audio drivers! What drivers do I need and are there any other drivers that I might need?

Thank you for your time,

I can find the drive to my dvd/cd since I had a new motherboard installed. I don't have any information in the stuff that came with the computer. I had a partitioned drive so I lost only the programs. I was told I would have to reinstall my programs that were lost. But since they're all on CD I can't!
This is all so frustrating!

I am 15, I have a 4 year old PC which is really slow and I have told my mom for 6 months now that I want a Mac Mini but she always says that she doesn't have money but i know that it isn't true because she is always wasting money on things that she never uses and because of that she never buys me anything (Last time she bought me a game for my PSP and that was over 5 months ago), and even though the Mac Mini doesn't come with a monitor, i already have one, what should i do? Should i wait for Leopard to come out later this month? PS: I have already used Macs and I am familiar with OS X

My 360 is broken, and I was planning on buying the core system. Can I just keep my harddrive, and put it on the core system, or no?

Pretty much the question. From my understanding, 65nm refers to the process to create it which makes it cheaper to produce. But with people claiming the Xbox 360 will run "cooler" because of it I'm beginning to wonder if thats true.

When I first turned my laptop on, It said there was an error in my Windows and it had to shut down (internally). I was thinking along the lines of I kept the hard drive running for too long.

I will want to upgrade my graphics card at some point in the near future and I just wanted to know which card would be the better to get comparing any of the nvidia and ATI cards from here :

Nvidia cards :

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/productlist.php?groupid=701&catid=56&subid=411

ATI Cards :

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/productlist.php?groupid=701&catid=56&subid=403

Unless you know of a better card , I did see a physics card or something of the like that it supposed to help so a recomendation of which one of them to get would be helpful as well as letting me know what type of slot they require.

Thanks

I want to install an extra hard disk on my computer, secondary hard drive that is and wanted to know how many internal secondary hard disks can I install on my computer, someone told me you can just install an extra one, therefore you have a primary hard disk and a secondary hard disk or slave disk but then someone told me you can have several and they got me all confused, I have been getting such answers and have no idea whether it is proper to purchase an extra hard disk, right now I have a 40GB HDD with Windows XP and thought of purchasing an 80GB or perhaps 160GB SATA Drive as a secondary Hard Disk. I also wanted to know that if I have a primary hard disk of 40GB with Windows XP,can I have secondary hard disks of higher capacity and is the RAM and Processor in any way involved in this that I cannot get extra space because other hardwares in the system don't support it. Please let me know.
