do you prefer Intel or AMD?

i liek AMD, but what would u prefer, which is better!

mines has a socket A for AMD Athlon XP 2600+

now if i change it to an intel chip, would it be any difference??

But to answer your question, Intel is up to a quad 4 (4 processors), AMD just released there quad 4, however only three actually work..

If your wanting to compair AMD to Intell, Amd is better for gamming, and Intell is better for word processing.

Some of these answers are not exactly accurate.. AMD released a 3 core cpu, not a quad with only 3 working cores.
