Windows Reinstall Problems? Plz Help, Plz!!?

Hiya,
I reinstalled Windows last night, but didn't look at what drivers I had...

I've run into an audio problem. I have connected it to an LCD screen with speakers but the computer doesn't have any audio drivers! What drivers do I need and are there any other drivers that I might need?

You will need any and all drivers for your mother board. You will also need to load the drivers for any ad-in PCI cards that you might have.

If you don't have the driver disk for you mother board, go to the manufactures web site and download them.

First you need to look up your computer model. That way you can find out what type of drivers you need.(Unless it was custom built) Next, goto mycomputer, right click and goto manage. From there, goto device manager. That will show you everything thatis on the computer. Anything with a ? mark needs a driver.

Try running windows update. It will identify your hardware and search the web for appropriate driver.

Start Internet explorer
From the menu choose Tools->Windows Update
Select "Custom" button
Click "Hardware Optional"
Check if it shows audio driver.

You can also check your PC's hardware support website for drivers.

Is your audio built-in to your motherboard or you got a separate audio card installed?

if it is, you should know what brand is your pc and its specs. If its a generic type of pc, you should know the manufacturer and model of your motherboard. You can download the audio drivers at the manufacturer's website.

If you have a separate sound card installed, you should know also the manufacturer and the model and download it at the manufacturer's website.
