I have a old dell gx100 when i turn it on it sends me to the setup where it says my hard drive and my cd roms are not installed i checked all the cables and everything is hooked up right does anyone know what the problam might be? do i need to download a driver for the hard drive and install it on the computer?

And can you have a the main hard drive as a slave device if so i can set the jumper as a slave?

Sounds like you need to re-format your drive and re-load windows. If there is stuff you need or you want to test the hard drive maybe you know somebody that will allow you to install the drive on there computer and see if it is visible.
