I'm trying to connect my laptop to my tv. My laptop has a 7 pin s-video output and my tv takes 4 pin s video and the three color coded connectors. I want a simple cable that can transfer video and sound but I don't know where to get it. All I find is the 4 pin-video to 4 pin s-video.

Hi. The S-Video spec is just for the 4 pin (plus clocking plug) form. There MAY be an adapter but your best bet is if the PC and TV have a yellow jack. Simple RCA cable.
