How can a model of a keyboard be made?

Hi. Full size model can be had for nearly free at a computer recycling stop. Small versions can be just a small piece of card board with a photo glued on. A working model for demonstrating how a keyboard works can be an array of simple switches that connect two of the keyboard wires when pressed. Hope this helps.
