When I went to plug in my speakers I had no sound on my pc. This is strange because I had sound before and all of a sudden I have nothing. I connected other speakers to check if the speakers are faulty but still I dont have any sound. What can I do? Thank you

Go to your control panel and select sound and audio devices. Check both Accessibility Sound Options and Advanced Audio Controls to make sure "mute" has not been selected. Also check the volume control on your desktop toolbar (lower right hand corner) to make ure that is not muted also. Good luck.

Go to Start.
Control Panel and choose
Sound and Audio devices.
Make sure you don't have the mute ticked.
Try increasing the volume form the tool bar.
Alternative choose speaker volume and hit he apply button.
Then exit out.

make sure speaker jack is in right connector on back of pc. also check that you have power to speakers from power suply. also you can go to start ,control panel, device manager,click on audio device tab select properties and make sure device is working properly as you may have lost your driver for your sound card if that doesnt work try rebooting machine.

Sound card driver may have been deleted. Check by running dxdiag. Check in Sound tab. If card and driver details are not there, install the driver. That usually does it.
