Hi,
I recently upgraded my computer (new motherboard, new processor, new RAM) and the speed is slower than my old 1.2ghz computer. It runs games perfectly but normal use is slow. Especially hibernation. My old 400mhz laptop hibernates and resumes like 4 times faster! I am using XP (same on all systems). I had a suspicion that it is my Hard drive (40gb) that came with the old computer I just upgraded.
Thanks,
Jonty

i just bought it today, and when i opened it, there is a note mentioning that the card needs extra power fro the PSU by using the 6-pin powr cables...

the note inside the box also mention that the card will not support 4-pin to 6 pin power converters... does it mean I must buy a power supply with a 6pin power cable...?

I just wiped my harddrive, created a new partition and am halfway through installing windows xp on it, however I need to shut down. The initial setup thing is done and its now asking me to select languages etc.

Is it safe to shut down my pc at this stage and restart it later and install xp again?
