I recently purchased a brand new video, a 512 MB NVIDIA GeForce 6200 -- definitely not top of the line but a very good quality card. After installing the card properly (removing old drivers, installing the new ones, etc.), it appeared to be working correctly. However, when I started up a PC game (World of Warcraft), many graphical glitches made themselves known.

These glitches included lines/shapes of various colors blinking around the screen, literally less than a second each, but continuously nonetheless. It happens more often when there is more rendering going on the screen so I'm not quite sure what the problem is.

I've went through the card configuration multiple times, the in-game video settings, updating the video driver, updating my chipset and even testing it in other PC's (it works fine in two others without problems), but I cannot get it working on mine. Anybody have any suggestions?

I have a 2ghz P4 processor and 1.5GB RAM with Windows XP. I'd appreciate any help.

I'm thinking of building a PC again shortly. I used to buy my tower cases from the Bowlers in Manchester but this is now too far as I live in Lancs so it's not really cost effective. Does anyone know where I can buy a tower case that has a power pack in it to get me started. Stylish ones a plus but also looking for good deals?

I purchased a new computer with vista ( my printer won't work; my scanner won't work 2/3 on my software won't work), I just purchased another referbished computer with XP, maybe in a couple of years vista may be ok, or if you purchase all new equipment.

Does anyone know of a good website to trade computer parts? Not on a big scale or wholesale basis, just on a person to person level. I have a few working parts that I just dont need, and I really need a new sound card. I would offer some of them on here, but I dont know if thats allowed, and I dont want to be accused of "spamming".

This P.C must last a long time, so is there much difference in the "updateableness" of a 32 or 64bit machine. It will be used mainly for surfing the net, and college work.

I have fairly new NEC, Pioneer and a Lite-On DVD-Roms in my computers, but they only read maybe 50% of all my badly scratched DVDs.

What would be the best model on the market today specifically designed to read scratched & dirty DVD-Roms....

Any references to tech. reviews would be appreciated.
