i will use this pc for play hardcore games and play video most...
so i also looking to get vista on the pc ..so which one is better ?

Core 2 Duo for everything.
the 1.86ghz may sound slow, but it is about the same as a 3ghz
your P4 will give crap loads of problem with heat and energy usage.
the Core 2 Duo is cool, and if you ever learn to overclock, you will achieve speeds of 2.8ghz to 3ghz at no extra cost
