My cd-writer is not working properly. It will play any cd you put into it but when I try to burn a cd, it tells me there is an inaccessible drive or an invalid function. I used to be able to drag and drop items to be burned onto the cd-writer drive but I had to re-install windows and now it won't work. The only software I use to copy files to cd-rom is Windows. Any information on how I can fix this would be greatly appreciated. I tried using Windows help feature but it wasn't very detailed on how to fix the problem. Thanks in advance.

I have a logitech keyboard with the shortcut keys on top (volume, calculator, home, media, messenger, etc). It's fairly new .. less than 2 monthes old. Before that I had the same kind, it lasted well over a year if not longer before I threw it out for cosmetic purposes.

Anyhow... I installed it properly with the setpoint disk so I would be able to use the shortcut keys on top. It was working fine for the first while, now I'm having little annoying problems. Such as ... I can't use the right shift key with the @ symbol, but I can use the left one. The right shift key works for everything else, just not with THAT key. The Z works only with the right shift key and not with the left, the reverse of the @ symbol issue. Annoying and irritating problems, but small enough.

Now I know this has nothing to do with the driver, or shouldn't .. since the keyboard default buttons work before you even put the setpoint disc in. What could be going on here? Any ideas on how to fix?

Thanks ;)

This
http://www.experts-exchange.com/Operating_Systems/WinXP/Q_20924445.html

Came up when I Switched from a game to mozzilla. I have recently installed a video card (better than old one) and i increased the paging file size to 1500 - 3000. ( It was originally like 1000 region)

I have updated my drivers and my ram has been good.
I tried to use memram but i dont know how to ( sucks).
Also I looked at the driver signing of my video card and it is all up to date.
What is wrong here?

Hi,
I posted (asked) some time ago about by PC config. Now, I have the following config:
Motherboard: Asus P5B
RAM: 1GB DDR2 667
Processor: Core 2 Duo 1.86GHz
HDD: 160GB SATA 7200
Keyboard & Mouse: Logitech Optic
Monitor: LG LCD 17"
Modem: Internal 56kbps
Card Reader: Internal
Printer: HP F380
TV Tuner: PixelView TV Pro (internal)

Now the main part:Out of these, which one can you recommend (and the price):
1. ASUS EN7800GTx 256MB PCI Express Graphic Card (NVIDIA)
2. ASUS EN7600GS SILENT/HTD GeForce™ 7600GS, (512 MB) PCI Express Graphic Card (NVIDIA)
or if you have another choice.

Is 7800GTx (with 256MB) better than 7600GS (512 MB), whats the difference, working, and price.....?

My shift key recently started sticking. It still moves up and down but it is very slow. I spilled a slight amount of Pepsi around the key last week, but I thought I cleaned all of it using a paper towel. I have a Logitech G15, so I'm not going to just scrap the keyboard. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

When I press the power button on the tower, the light behind the button turns green. But there is no spinning harddrive sound among all the usual sounds. The monitor seems fully functional and it seems like there is no interaction between the monitor or harddrive, no loading of the bios or windows. What could be the problem?

there's a blog that debunks the common story about the QWERTY keyboard. who's right?
http://yasuoka.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_yasuoka_archive.html
essentially, the author says 8-finger typing didn't even exist until years after the QWERTY keyboard was invented, so how could it have been developed to slow down typists. second good point: old keyboards are hard to punch, so did people really use more than a pecking method?

hey, im a 3d rendering hobbiest with a 2.8 ghz pentum d pc, with 1 gig of ddr2 ram and an nvidia 7600gt 256mb card. My pc has crappy *** stock cooling and i think my cpu gets hott alot. Im just curious to know wether heat dissapation would cause lower performance at times of high load causing lower rendering speeds? would liquid cooling or just a better cpu fan help this. And also, if anyone if familiar with poser, does calculating cloth simulations depend on memory more or cpu speed, cause the tech guy who works for the company said i just have to get more memory to increase simulations, but he souned too unsure.
thanx ;)

When I type, some letters won’t always appear, and sometimes random keys will just not do anything or make a space, like the space bar. All the keys are doing this at random times. I have tried a different keyboard, it has a similar problem.
