Like ther other person says, how do you know you need a new video card? If it says that you need more xxxxMBs, then that means you're probably out of room on your harddrive. If it says the expansion can't load a graphic or video, then you might need to get a new video card.

If you need any new equipment, and you're new to pc parts, best to purchase them from newegg.com and have someone install them for you. Make sure its compatible with your computer 1st though by asking a fellow computer geeek.

A new video card only processes graphics. A hard drive stores information and programs, and the amount of storage it can hold is measured in Megabites (MB) or Gigabites (GB). Are you asking this question because you are running out of space on your hard drive?
