There was nothing wrong with old hard drive, just wanted a larger one. I have a Sony Vaio Pcv RS 510 pc. Everything went fine after install,I reinstalled XP home with no problems until I reistalled Service Pack 2. After the reboot my icons were huge so I went to display and it was at 4 bits resolution and 640 by 480 pixels, I can't increase either. Went to device manager and I have 4 yellow question marks with a yellow spot and a black exclamation mark thru the spot. They are each on "Other Devices", Multimedia Audio Controller","PCI Modem", and "Video Controller(VGA Compatible)". Did I get myself in some big trouble? Can someone please help and walk me thru this in the simplest terms? Thank You

I really would like to know why some are gold and some are silver, A friend of mine told me gold ones were faster, but another friend said it made no difference at all. I just want to see which one of them is right.

i believe that keylogger programs keep saving every keystroke they record to hard disk so they must be accessing the hard disk very often, thus putting extra stress on it and decreasing its life

The boot section of the original hard drive failed, but I was told that it would still work. I bought and installed a new hard drive, but I still want to be able to use the space on the old hard drive. How can I hook the two up together. My computer has the space for two hard drives too, how do you make them both work?
