Laptops & Notebooks - January 2007

I returned my laptop (T60 is such a junk) to Lenovo with delivery confirmation by USPS. USPS tracking system said "delivered to RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK NC" but Lenovo said "They didn't get it". I don't understand???? I am so in dead end. Can I report local police (my town) that it was stolen by either USPS staff or Lenovo warehouse? Can I have proof of delivery with signature from USPS (delivery confirmation service) with extra-fee? Now, i am so upset. Pls advise and Thanks in advance

I have Intel Core Duo 1.66GHz, 1024MB RAM, Win XP... I want to know if i have x64 or x86 because I want to know which Vista I will install, the x64 or the x86.. Is there any program/software that will let you know if you have x86 or x64?? they say you look at the bootscreen but i dont see anything like that.. please help!

I am running a MAC os X
so as the q? says my hardrive fell off my desk it has all my music on it, and Itunes will still reconive it and plays all the music off of it, but when i try to actually access the hardrive it takes about 5 min for it to open up. i try to do a disk repair but my computer says
the volume Untitled 1 needs to be repaired.

what can i do?
buy a new drive? this will be the second time in 5 months.....

The lap top is an HP Pavilion 550mhz amdk6-2 and the old hd was a 4 gig. I bought a 40 gig and it won't recognize until the windows instalation CD is in the drive and started booting. The new hd is a toshiba. Can anyone help?
