I returned my laptop (T60 is such a junk) to Lenovo with delivery confirmation by USPS. USPS tracking system said "delivered to RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK NC" but Lenovo said "They didn't get it". I don't understand???? I am so in dead end. Can I report local police (my town) that it was stolen by either USPS staff or Lenovo warehouse? Can I have proof of delivery with signature from USPS (delivery confirmation service) with extra-fee? Now, i am so upset. Pls advise and Thanks in advance

Signature service would have to be requested at time of mailing. I would wait a day for Lenovo to get their head out of their butt and then ask if they'd like you to print out and fax to them the delivery confirmation information on the USPS website. More than likely its just a matter of the receiving dock not having logged in the new shipments yet.

Delivery confirmation does not necessarily require signature If it's a place of business.. I'm sure the carrier took it inside the business, scanned it and delivered it as "delivered" to the business. I would have had a signature confirmation instead. Did the company request you send it back? If so, was it was under any warranty.. don't they normally pick up the postage to ship it back? Something sounds fishy.. Check with the post office that delivered it.. They have to download the scanned items daily upon returing to their office..

Send a copy of the receipt showing delivery to lenovo. Don't send the original. Contact the post office also, see if the postal inspectors will look into it.

Track it yourself: If you requested "Delivery Confirmation," you should have the USPS receipt you got at the Post Office. It has has the tracking number on it.

Go to the following website to track the package:
