If your parts are too old, you are better off using them for a boat anchor. Without knowing what you have it is impossible to answer your question

It looked like your presario is equipped with an AMD k62 processor with 128 MB memory. By todays standards, its a dinosaur, you might be better donating it and getting a deduction off your taxes..

I'm not familiar with you're PC, it's age, spec's, etc.

However, the best "feel" for its given value would be to arm yourself with as many of the specs as possible, and visit EBay.com -- look for a similar PC that is nearing the "end of auction" -- this is the most likely value.
You can also check places like Overstock.com which sells refurbished PC's to see if they have a similar model -- this will also give you a "ball park" figure (you'll likely have to price yours below this as they offer a warranty).

You can also give it away to a family member -- but it might be underpowered for them as well.

Good luck

Well, first of all, you'll need the specs of the system, that is, what's in it. Secondly, you need to learn computer terminology. A CPU is not your computer, it is the processor inside, (chip) which you would need to know the speed of. A computer is referred to as a "computer", "tower", or "desktop", not CPU or as some people call it, a hard drive. These are the wrong terminology.

Place it on EBAY. You will have a broader audience to sell your computer to. Another option could be to sell the parts individually. Course you will have to learn a little bit about the insides of a PC if you don't already.
