yeah thats on the upper limits, i would make sure all the internal fans are working ok, or take the laptop to a pc shop for a professional clean inside and out.

Laptops can have a hard time cooling due to the fact that everything is packed into a small area. One thing that helps a lot is to lift the bottom of the laptop slightly up. This allows more air to flow under the bottom of the laptop.

WAY too hot.

Are you sure it's the drive? Sounds more like the Processor or the battery.

Could be that the fan has quit on you.

that is not right
turn it off
clean it
get all dust out of it
clean fan
test again
if no improvement
new fan
and possible a cooling dock
but a new fan

It is very warm, but not _too_ hot. Too hot would be.. ooh... 60. Make sure you have good ventilation.

YES!!!!! Is it an alien ware computer or something. That is not normal. My laptop is normally pretty cold.
