i just bought an advent gx9000 computer and not knowing a whole lot about computers i was wondering why does it have 2 graphics cards? also it has a dvd player and a seperate dvd burner, why?

Where do i go on my computer to find the system back or recovery disks. because i am going to install windows vista soon..before i do that i want to make my windows xp back up. so if u can tell me what place i need to go on my computer to do that??.. i know it takes abt 3 or 4 dvd's

I have a computer that is about 7 years old and it was working very well up to about a year ago. Ever since then my computer crashes when I'm doing ordinary stuff. I have a 512mb ram and 20 GB Hardrive, pentium 3 computer. For all the minor things like homework and web-serfing that I do, it was a great computer. Now it just crashes when I'm on the wed, typing, or even when nothing is going on. I'm just reading a book and my computer is sitting there, and it crashes. I have formatted my computer numerous times, I have Norton Antivirus, Webroot Spy-sweeper, Ad-aware, and spyware blaster, so I don't think It's spyware issues. What could be causing my computer to crash?

I haven't kept up on the lastest computer hardware in awhile and now that I want to upgrade I'm at a loss at where to start. My current system is an athlon sempron 2700+ with 1 gig of ram and a now ancient geforce4 ti4400 agp graphics card. I built this system about 2 years ago but reused the graphics card from the system I built before this one. Do I even bother upgrading anything or should I just start out with new cpu/mobo/ram and video card or can I get away with just a new video card? How much power do these newer systems need? Will my 450 watt power supply be enough? I'm wanting to upgrade to take advantage of the new DX10 games like Crysis that are coming out soon.

the thing is I needed to clean the fan on my Pc, because it was getting all fuzzy inside but I have a massive problem.

the thing is when I took the cover off to clean it, I never realised that is had a Warranty seal on it, and now it's broken,....

I'm scared, what do I do ???? :((

Every time when I reintall my pc either from my hard disc or from my recovery media ,after few hours I get the following message :
`One of the files containing the system`s Registry data had to be recovered by use of a log or alternate copy.The recovery was succesfull.`
Sometimes the blue screen comes up after this message what do you think is wrog in with my pc?

Six months ago I bought philips pc in the PC World.I had so many problems with it since,I had to do recovery about 7-8 times.They changed the motherboard and the memory,but I keep getting an error messages and blue screens.
Now I was told to call philips for recovery cd,because there was something badly installed on my hard drive.
If it still won`t help,does anybody know what I am entitled to with the manufacturers warranty,should they give me a replacement or refund?

The Verizon Fios connection uses a router that will connect with wired or wireless. I have never had the need to ask about how to connect another computer with zero ethernet port.
