Definately a PC because with a Mac, your are basically in a world of your own. With a PC there are so many options an intergration.

Well Macs don't get viruses but if u are a gamer then there are not very many games for a mac.
Pc has become mainstream.

assuming money is not an object, get a mac, because with the new macs, you can dual boot with vista/XP using software called parallels. you'll have to buy yourself a copy of vista (or get it illegally on bit torrent if your good with computers and have no moral values). just make sure the mac is well-equipped feature wise with at least 1gb of ram and at least a 2ghz core2 duo processor
