It's right below the keyboard (like always) and every time the palm of my hands gets too close, the curser does weird things and completely interrupts me when I'm typing. Sometimes what I'm typing will appear 6 inches up, in the middle of an existing paragraph ! I HATE IT , I HATE IT !!
I deleted the driver, and before that I would de-activate the mousepad from conrol panel, but nothing permanently deactivates it. I never use this thing, because i have a USB mouse.
Right now i have a piece of ugly cardboard covering it It works, but is there a better way?

I have a mac laptop, it doesn't have safari it has internet 5.1.6. and it doesn't work. Is there anyway i can install safari in it, or fix this problem? The version of the mac is 9.

I have 2 other macs, they are both versions X tiger, they have safari and they work.

I am starting a web hosting company and would like to know what stresses the system will be dealing with mainly, what kind of processor would be suitable? is there any point going for a quad core prossessor as there wont be many applications running?

If say 500-1000 users were connecting what would be the biggest issue in terms of hardware? ...RAM...CPU...Disk speed?....

I set the resolution to the 640*480. but still i couldn't play. it plays like a image slideshow.

My system is:
CPU: AMD 3000+
graphic: NVIDIA GFORCE FX 5200
RAM: 1.5 GB

why don't we get Pentium processors in stores now?especially for Black Friday?!!! Its all AMD, and lets face it, per4mance wise, AMD is no match for a Pentium Duo?

I just don't get it.. all the deals for this black Friday are all on AMD, and lower brand computers like Acer and Toshiba, no Dell or powerful enough HP.
why can;t the stores place a couple of high quality Dell on sale?

i think Im running out of toner on my hp laserjet 1012, but only the middle part is printing out light, and the left and right are still printing perfectly. how can i fix this!? i tried shaking already, and the toner powder keeps falling out.

My brother passed away in a car wreck 4 months back and my family has his laptop. The problem is we cant even turn it on, it has a thumb print reader security system on it and it prompts for his thumb print which is obviously unavailable everytime we attept to turn it on. We havnt been able to figure out how to bypass it and would like to know if there is even a way too, and how to if there is. As soon as you turn it on it immeadiatly asks for a print scan, it doesnt even turn on fully, so we cant get past it. Help please. Thank You.

Here's the situation.
Tomorrow's black friday and i need to decide between:

EPSON all-in-one printer ($24.99)
- Print speeds up to 24 ppm* in black and 12 ppm* in color
- 5760 x 1440 optimized dpi resolution

OR

HP all-in-one printer ($34)
-ink cost is low ink (black: $14.95, color: $17.95)
-print speed: 11ppm

Ive heard a lot of bad things about Epsons and im not sure about the whole 4 cartridges (are they expensive)?

Im not so crazy about the speed on HP either, but ive had a regular compaq printer IJ600 since '97 & its time for an update.

What exactly is the difference between an ink jet printer and a laser printer?

I have a brother MFC and it seems to have its problems.

My roommate said that I should get a laser printer.

What is the best in your opinions versus the other?

Also, what about a HP Deskjet F2110 All in one printer, Scanner, and copier? They have them on sale at Walmart for $34. What do you think of that one.

I would like one that will print off photos quickly. I am not a computer or printer wizard. Thank you all in advance, for your kind answers and advice.

Would putting a higher voltage PSU in my CPU have any risks?? What if I just buy a 1000w power supply, wouldn't it blow something? Or would it just take what it needs and leave the rest ?

XP Home edition is the OS. The video driver I want to install is Acer AL1716. Control panel won't let me change the drivers. No internet sites tell you how to do this. they tell you how to do 9X, 2000, & ME. But not XP.

I have a dell desktop E510, i want to get a memory card for my cell phones so i can download music from my pc to my phone and vice versa.
