I've been looking and prefer Sony laptops but they don't have any Orange ones that I know one...are there any good laptops there orange in color??

I have a Dell PC (Dimension 3000), does that mean I need two 500 MB RAM card besides 1 GIG or somthing like that?
Reason: I want to play WoW on my own computer. I have to play it at my relatives house or at my buddies. I also have promblems with installing WoW. My relatives computer dose not enough RAM, but I still can install it and play, but it is really laggy...My relatives and my My own computer ar the same computer (Dell PC) but it mine says DIMENSION 3000 on mine, but on my relatives is DIMENSION 1000. If your wondering DIMENSION 1000 is a few months newer than DIMENSION 1000.
!PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTION!

I've got Vista running and I've just put a further 4 gigs of ram into two of the four slots of my motherboard to give me, in theory, 6 gigs of ram. In windows it tells me there's just over 3 gigs of ram whereas the bios tells me there's the full 6. I've run two memory tests on the ram and it tells me its all okay.

Is vista making a mistake and has anyone else experienced this? And will it only use the RAM it knows about?

So far i havent found any.The dell xps comes with the 8700 and even alienware,although it advertises 8800 it can only be customised to the 8700m gt as far as i can tell.Is the 8800 gt and gtx actually available on a notebook?

i sent my computer away to get cleaned and fixed, and when we got it back it seemed to be working good, but then i downloaded a game that i had had on my computer before but it got earased when i sent it away, and when i tried to play it a notice poped up and said "wrong screen mode for Gr2d" then last night i downloaded another game but when i trien to play that one another notive poped up that said " Direct3D:CreateDevice failure" so i downloaded direct3D but it still came up with the same thing. so i figure its a problem with my graphic card, but its a problem i never had until i sent it to be fixed. what could they have done to cause this, and is there something i can do to fix it?

yeah found the rest of my unpartitioned hard drive but still did not add up to 250GB just has under 233GB on it

am i missing 17GBs, or do they all come that way?

How is my C Drive lossing space but im not doing much on the computer....
Yesterday my GB was 11.6 GB Used Space and today it is 13.1 GB..?!!

I didnt download anything last night or today... i just check my mail and chat with my friends on yahoo messenger.
I dont have any music, movies, etc.. on my computer
I dont use limewire
I Clean my disk daily... Temp. File, cookies, history etc.. and also defrag to.
I also Run ccleaner on my computer which it clean everything.

I dont understand how is it lossing so much space in 1 day?
Please help me

While I monitor the the motherboard & CPU temp in BIOS, it takes 10 min for my CPU to go from 52°F to 204°F and my motherboard to go to 82°F. I assumed my original Intel 775 heatsink was not adequate so I bought the best of the best to cool my CPU. According to www.anandtech.com, the best coolers for my CPU which I bought are: (1) Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme heatsink, (2) Scythe Flex SFF21F (1600 rpm) 3-pin fan. I spread the thermal paste on top of my CPU and at the bottom of the heatsink. I then plugged the 3-pin fan into the CPU fan connector on the MOBO. Because the MOBO has a 4 pin header and the fourth pin is for the PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation), I left the 4th pin open and set the BIOS setting for fan mode to DC (the other mode is PWM) Here are my specs: ASUS P5GDC-V deluxe MOBO, Intel 775 3GHZ processor, 1 GB RAM. I have the latest BIOS update 1011. I swapped the CPU with a new CPU & it still happens. I even tried Artic silver thermal paste. What the heck is going on?

I'd be using it for very light gaming (Warcraft 3, Counter-Strike 1.6) and some light Photoshopping. What I'd use it for most is watching videos (using MPlayer) like TV Shows, Movies and the like.

Would I see a humongous difference? Or is it negligible enough for me to go with the cheaper Celeron 3.46ghz system? I'm also looking for upgradeability. So I'd end up upgrading to a Core 2 Duo (probably a 2 or 3 ghz model) when I had the money.

I haven't bought anything yet but I'm worried about BIOS. I have no clue how to set up the BIOS.
Do I have to worry about jumpers? I don't know anything about them, I will be using 1 SATA HDD and 1 IDE DVD burner.

Can anyone give me good links to BIOS help sites or tell me what to do?

hi.
i recently got a new power supply but it is missing a 3 pin plug for my cooling system. i tried buying a 4pin to 3 pin adapter but it did not work. i also tried extending my cd drive plug and using it for the mother board cooling system. it says abnormal fan something something. whats wrong here?

I have an Acer Aspire 3050 that has a 14.1'' screen that is shattered. Well I found a 14.1'' screen on ebay that came out of a Gateway 5150. Would it still work in my Acer even though it is from a Gateway??

Please no advise on buying from ebay, just wondering if the screen would work. Thank you :)

I have a 37" High Definition Television with a 1080i (1920 x 1080 Pixel) Display, it has a slot for a male VGA component and as does my PC, is it possible to link my PC and my HDTV together so my HDTV is getting used as a monitor and still have it show in HD (i.e. Have my computers display show up in 1080i resolution), or would I need to lower the resolution, use a different cable or just not do it altogether? And also, HDMI cables are NOT an option, my computer and graphic card doesnt have a slot for them, I awate a reply, thank you.

I was hoping someone could help me out, I need a desktop a good one, fast, and good looking lol ya.. this is what i want from specs
1) 2gb or more ram ( expandable to 8gb but can be less)
2) 160gb or more hard-drive, the more the better obviously as long as its under a $600
3) Intel core 2 duo with a clock speed of preferably 2ghz or higher, (i believe intel core 2 duo is the best processor right now not sure though if there is better please let me know)
4) Good graphic card that supports games like, counter strike, gunz, call of duty,strategy games,mmorpgs like maplestory, runescape, and all those, and can keep up with new games coming out for computer.
5) Thats about it, and if it comes with a monitor and all thats even better, monitor size would be 17" or higher, 17" is enough for me though not to crazy about that, but 19" would be perfect.
P.S: Yes my demands are kinda high, but id appreciate it if you know a computer that has these specs and you tell me the name, THANK YOU!!

ok my old pc took a crap on me, but the hard drive is still good i just recently bought a new dell 410 xps but i still want all my pic/videos from the old HD someone told me i can hook it up as a slave driver. the cables on the dell are different there small instead of the big fat gray ribbion. so what can i do. please help .

which graphics card would be better on the macbook pro or would it not make much difference at all!
i have a choice to buy a macbook pro with a 256mb ati radeon x1600 or a nvidia geforce 8600m gt graphics card both machines would have 2gbs of ram, but the machine that comes with the ati graphics card will have 2.33 ghz processor and the nvidia one will come with 2.4, is there much difference? im thinking of just going for the cheaper ati model with 2.33 ghz, im only gonna be using it to do editing and some adobe after effects motion graphics work.
anyone clued up on this sort of thing to give me some advice?

ok... i got a new hp dv6000 and its really good. the only bad thing is the graphics. im not 100% sure but i think the video card is Intel(R) GMA 950. ive been searching for external video cards and i found sites of them but i cant see to buy it. are there actual external graphic cards for my laptop? were can i buy it? (link would be nice xD) what can i do to increase my graphics. i play a lot of cs cz and i have horrible FPS!
