Does this mean your thinking about buying this computer for $300? Well ignore the last comment, b/c the person doesn't have an ibook with leopard ... they have a Macbook.

Anyhow, I would not recommend purchasing this computer b/c it doesn't meet Leopards system requirements. Therefore you can add as much RAM as you want, and it won't help. Your processor it way to small for Leopard.

They might have been able to successfully install Leopard on this iBook, but its not going to run very well. And like I said, a few of the programs wont even run at all.

If you really want this computer, my best advice to you would be to call Apple and buy Tiger installion disks (mac os x 10.4) and erase Leopard and install Tiger and you'll have better results.

You said 1.07 ghz........now im assuming this is the speed of the processor (CPU)?? if so, that is a slow processor. i dont know much about Leopard, but that is probably enough RAM.

its ok. upgrade to 2gb of memory. It wont be very fast, but it will be fine for basic computer use.
