why don't we get Pentium processors in stores now?especially for Black Friday?!!! Its all AMD, and lets face it, per4mance wise, AMD is no match for a Pentium Duo?

I just don't get it.. all the deals for this black Friday are all on AMD, and lower brand computers like Acer and Toshiba, no Dell or powerful enough HP.
why can;t the stores place a couple of high quality Dell on sale?

They lose less money selling you an AMD for a reduced price, and 95% of buyers dont know a CPU from a STD.

Well they're going to put the already low-priced stuff on sale, hoping that consumers will be "tricked" into buying something that they need to get rid of because they were having trouble selling it in the first place, and what better time to do this than on the day when they know that everyone will be shopping?
I wouldn't go with a dell, every dell i have owned has ended up going back to the store because they suck. Go with a HP, and if you want to get one cheaper, remember that most stores will match prices to make you a deal, so shop around. I have a gateway, and it's also a good brand.
Good luck!!

Retailers don't have discount prices on Intel-based products (on Black Friday) because they're in collusion to see how many thinly-disguised flame-wars they can start on Yahoo! Answers concerning Intel CPUs versus AMD CPUs.

Your opening volley was flawless. Now, let the mud-slinging begin. :-)
