I am also not a fan of vista, so im not sure if i should get it due to it being vista. All of the programs i want use such as photoshop, are not compatitible with vista, so :( is it possible to downgrade to xp.

Yeah, excellent deal. I'm looking to get a laptop for under $400 myself, but I'm not gonna brave Black Friday.

You'd better hurry and reserve it before it's gone!

The rebate is a high enough dollar amount to where there is a high probability you would get it. You'll even be able to trace the status of your rebate after you've mailed in your UPC, receipt, etc.

I've never failed to get a Circuit City rebate, and I've received 3.

That's a really good deal. I'm going to go to black friday to get a few things. If you have windows xp disks than yes, you can downgrade. This is a really good deal, so i would get it before they go. If you have never installed software or are technologically un-aware, you might not want to install xp yourself. But if you know how, go ahead. Usually new XP disks can go from 30-150 dollars on ebay, so checking that out is smart.

You get what you pay for. If you want a good notebook, it doesn't get any better than a MacBook or MacBook Pro.
