My laptop is a gateway MT6841, but I can't find any sites that say what graphics card I have.

Any help would be wonderful!
Thanks.

the number is one good way low ends for ati example low end card ati 4250 high end 6700 series or 6800 series 3 important things make a good graphics card one is the speed of the core example 480ghz core is good for moderate work 800ghz or 700 or 650 are more for demanding things like gaming next is stream processes 0r (cuda cores if handling nirvida) this is how much information the graphic card can handle at a time such as detail for lush video or gaming low ends have less streams 80 190 then its more 400 -800 line its more for gaming shaders add lil bits of detail to give more realism. next you have the most important part is amount of memory it has to do all these things 1gb will do alot but 2gb is better for gaming the more it has the less chance of lagging and the higher the streams also helps prevent lagging here is a good not to expensive example SAPPHIRE AMD Radeon HD 6750 2048MB GDDR3 2 slot spaces this will handle most games and can crossfire which means you can use 2 of these if your board supports crossfire for a wicked set up gddr3 is slower then gddr5 cards but this rarely effects game play XFX AMD Radeon HD 6770 1024MB GDDR5 this can be crossfired also single slot means only takes 1 slot up i put ati down as they are cheaper
