this guy owns his own computer business he got it for me and installed it, i payed £40 for it

but when I right click on my pc it only shows 1.8 ghz why? is he lying?

dell sx260 celeron 2ghz running XP, I have no disks, and the machine does not recognize cd-rom or floppy even though they are checked in the BIOS as there, ..... when I checked the system information software it has a NO for drivers for floppy and cd-rom. dell is impossible to navigate, their website is so confusing, I can't even figure out how to ask them the question....HELP !!!

I've always noticed a difference in the quality of the color from my screen to paper, but I just hooked up a new printer and the difference is huge. The pictures are printing out so much lighter than they should be and they quality of it is ruined. I tried printing the photo out on normal paper a few different ways, but it didn't change it at all. The printer came with my computer, its a Dell 725. Is there anything I can do to fix the color? The ink cartridge is new, I tried cleaning the nozzel, but so far, nothing has helped, so...help!?

The box had a seal and I bought it from the store, it says if the seal is broken, they wont accept any returns.

Well, the processor I bought wasnt working... Is there still any way to return it? Even after I broke the seal?

I dont need help to see if he problem is my computer, I just want to return it, thats all.

My husband is a Jerk!!! He took the hard drive out of my PC which I found very rude and unrespectful. He's suspiciuos that I'm cheating on him with some guys online because I've spent a lot of time on my PC. I have to admit that I spend a lot of time on my PC but only to do my work and entertaining. I don't do no chating or seeking for some other guys. So, my question is can my husband tracks down any infos that I've been through on the internet of off my PC? I don't keep track of the web sites I was on because my PC cleared up the history every time I'm online. I don't worry about what he'll find because it'll be nothing. Just curious.

Last night, it was working perfectly. Until today.
My computer seems to recognise it, the icon appears on my computer. I can open the folders in it sometimes, but it's very slow when it's successful, the other time it crashes the explorer. I try to open some avi files (as big as 170mb), but it crashes. I can only seem to open very small files (like 30mb). It makes this strange sound, as if it's flicking very loudly than usual and it sounds like it got d/c all the time.
I tried to go through windows media player and open it, it works sometimes, but other time it crashes. Then I tried to transfer the large file(170mb) to my desktop and it crashed.

I use Buffalo external harddrive.. and my operating system was XP, but now I use Vista.

I've also tried to use it on my laptop which is XP, but it still like that. Please help?

A friend lost many prized pictures when his hard drive failed. The drive quit suddenly rather than making any noise hinting at a problem. I believe motor or electronics have failed rather than a head crash.
