Im currently being trained as a Loan Officer so I'm looking for a laptop so I can travel and do my work on it. So which laptop is good regardless of price?

what should i look for in a laptop when i want:
space
speed
umm idk what else

Toshiba or Sony. NO Dell, Gateway, Mac, or HP.

well i dont think ur not going to b using it for any fancy multimedia stuff so u dont rele need a high-end model. the minimum amount of memory it shud hav is 512MB, 1 GB is nice, any more than that itsnt rele necessary. the hard drive shud b at least 60 GB, u dont need it any bigger than 80. make sure it has centrino so u get wireless with it. battery life shud b at least 3 hours, 5 hours is ideal. oh, and if u have a PDA make sure the laptop has bluetooth so u can sync ur files. good companies to pick from are dell. sony, toshiba, their all good. and STAY AWAY from hp compaq cause they SUCK

try tigerdirect.com you need at least 80 gb hard drive i reccomend having an external hd to carry with you i have a 500 gig external i bring with me on business trips since i primarilly use my laptop for everything i would reccomend also something with at least 1024 meg of ram and also look at the battery life as well i bought a dell and upgraded quite a bit but the battery is the best thing i did i have about 4 hours of life which helps on international flights

i was just reading reviews on laptop. best one atm is the
PC nextday Zoostorm 53-7701 Family laptop.
or a Toshiba Satellite A100
first laptop is around £881 UK with Tax
2nd laptop is around £800 UK with Tax

May I segust the apple ibook. It is small to carry, lots of hardrive, and not slow in the least.

personaly im a lover of dell because their parts are comersial and are eassy to find. and yeah speed space memory and if it looks nice.
