Accessories
System Tools
Disk Defragmenter
I first just a disk scan to get rid of temp files, then defrag. The disk scan is also under the System Tools.

To defragment your computer, open your Start Menu, click on All Programs/Programs, then Accessories, then System Tools, then Disk Defragmenter. If you have Windows XP or Vista, you can click on Analyze, and it will tell you if you need to defragment or not. If it says that you don't need to defragment at this volume, you can either do it, or not. If it says that you should defragment, then defragment. You can view the report of your disk defragment at the end of the defragmentation.

select programs
select accessories
select system tools
select disc defragmenter
when that comes up then it will do a check ans SEE if the PC need defrag then it will say system ok no need to defrag or it will say you gotta be kidding me right Missy?
I been needing defrag eversince you started using windows!
DE FRAG IMMEDIATELY! But do it when you going to bed
it takes a long time to defrag or better yet get it to defrag every month on its own their is a setting for routine defrag

Start>
My Computer>
Right Click on "Local Disk (C:)",
Choose "Properties"
Select "Tools" Tab
Select "Defragment Now"

The way is here:

But remember you need to have 15% free space for successful derag.
