Realtec AC' 97 audio driver says Status-driver is enabled but has not been started. HOW do I start it, no disk

i HAVE nO SOUND AND IT SAYS THAT THE DRIVER HAS BEEN ENABLED BUT HAS NOT BEEN STARTED AND I HAVE NO DISK

goto control panel sound and audio check if u can hear anything here. if yes then ur CD is gone
if not then:
goto start-run type services.msc and press enter
check if Windows Audio Service is disabled then right click goto property and start it, make it automatic

if not the case then still check if it is not a driver problem by reinstalling driver. this should be a driver problem now
