problem during installation of solaris 9
during installation solaris 9 in my pc i getting the errror code such as "Gen- ATA" error wat is means.
my pc configuration will be.
P4 2.6GHz, RAM 512MB, ASUS motherboard,80GB SATA HDD, AND 80GB IDE HDD.
80GB SATA HDD having windows XP and 80GB IDE HDD having Redhat linux.

i tried to install in a IDE HDD and i got this error, so wat will be the solution for this and that error means.

can i try for solaris 10.

so my friends can resolve , there is any solution can i enjoy sun environment.

when i turn my computer on it goes to the load up windows screen but than it goes right back to the begining and it does the same thing everytime

my camcorder is a Sony Handycam that uses Hi-8 cassettes. It has a "video out" on it and I am able to hook the camera up to my TV. How do I hook up the cam to my computer? I have a "video out" that I installed on my computer but I don't think I have a "video in" Do I need a certain program? And do I need another video card?

I intend to work in 3d studio max. I've heard that Nvidia Quadro cards are more suitable for this kind of applications instead of Nvidia gaming cards. Why are Quadros better for 3D modelling instead of normal cards? I would prefer rather precise answers, please. Thank you!

My laptop has limited space on the hdd because I only got a 40GB hard drive and Dell took a lot of space. I was thinking of getting a external Western Digital Drive for games, pictures, etc. Should I just get an external drive or go for an internal one? Its for Christmas.

I unplugged my external HDD a couple times yesterday in order to plug in a webcam. Now Windows won't recognize my external HDD. I have rebooted several times to no avail. There was no software with the HDD and all was fine until I unplugged it. Am I missing something?

My real player always worked fine to burn cd now it only will burn 9 tracks then give me an error says to change options to 2sec delay but still will not work any idea's
