where can i get a firewire card to connect a video camera to a laptop?
is there anywhere where i can get one that is good quality but not to expensive?

Apparently after hours of trying to get my computer to detect the printer, the customer support people at Lexmark tell me that they gave me the wrong disk with the printer! I dont know if he is telling the truth or just trying to get rid of me. He promised to send out the disk that I need but I am really thinking I wont ever see it. If anyone has this printer and it works, please tell me what disk you have. There should be a PN number located on the disk. What is yours? I would hate to box the darn thing up and return it....but I am thinking I may have to

I built my computer about 14 months ago. About 2 months ago the power supply died and it wouldnt turn on. Well I installed a new power supply, except now every time I turn it on I have to move a jumper on the motherboard, turn it on, turn it off, move the jumper back, and only then will it completely boot up. What is going on? This is a huge pain. Thank you.

Hi All,

Just installed a Maxtor 10 200gb SATA hard drive but its only showing 137gb in windows?? I have downloaded Maxtor big driver enabler but it didnt work??

XP service pack 2
200gb Hv200*** hard drive

If i partitioned the drive would with partition magic would this work??

I am trying to listen to, well, anything on my computer but no sound is coming out. I am on a windows laptop and I already checked the speaker thing on the bottom right corner, and its on. When I boot up my laptop, it's just says "operating system not found". It worked fine, the charger broke, so I bought a new one, it worked fine to start with but then the second time I booted up, it made a disconcerting noise and then just says the above, after the screen where I'm prompted to press or . It's a P4 Samsung laptop, and it was running Windows XP. I have Windows 98 on disc. Any (serious) advice greatfully recieved!!!

Hi, I currently have a Sony Vaio VGN-FS315M laptop with the following specification:

100GB Seagate 7200rpm hard drive
Intel Pentium M 740 1.73Ghz Processor
128MB Nvidia Geforce Go 6400 Graphics
1.5GB RAM

I am looking to play football manager 2007 and was wondering if my CPU was ok to play it on? I am aware I have enough RAM (or at least I think I do), but I have read somewhere that my CPU is equivalent to a desktop 2.2-2.4Ghz CPU, can anyone confirm this or does anyone have any help and advice?

i have 2 RAM slots.
ok i have a celeon running at 3.3 ghz with 512 of RAM. The question is should i get 512mb or get a stick of 1gb of RAM for the extra slot. I heard your comp will run well if you have 256, 512, 1gig, 2gig. but is having 1.5gig making your comp run fine?
