A couple of years ago I installed a new 120 gig hard drive as the slave drive and left the much smaller 6 or 8 gig as the master. Now the smaller drive is so full my computer keeps freezing up. Is it possible to switch the slave to master and vice versa, and what is the proper procedure so I do not lose the data on the current slave drive? If I remember correctly, all data from the C drive (small master) was copied over to the D drive (120 gig slave).

I'm looking to purchase a tablet pc, but a customer reviewed the product as average for one reason and one reason only: there was no integrated bluetooth. What exactly does this feature enable you to do?

The other specs are about the same so I just need to know which processor is FASTER, more reliable, efficient, and practically performs better. ( I'm more of a gamer/multitasker, but don't regard it to much)

At the moment I have a DVD drive that can only read DVDs, I recently purchased an additional drive that can read and burn. I want to install the other one, but am not really clear on what jumper settings really are, and how to best install the drive so that the one that I just purchased is the "master".

The more details the better.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I have a Dell PC- dimensions desktop 8100. The computer itself is in pretty good condition but it's running on windows ME edition which I beleive is the reason it's freezing up, blue screens, program errors, etc. I just recently wiped the hard drive and reinstalled windows. I think I'd like to upgrade my operating system but then I start to think that I'd also like a dvd drive (which this pc doesnt have) and I'm also concerned that a new operating system won't run very well on an older computer. Should I just get an upgrade (windows xp, etc) or should I wait and save enough money for a new computer?

have recently purchased a new old laptop. I got a 6 GB hard drive in it. It originally had no OS in it. I put in a Windows 98 boot disk and put in command.com and scandisk log files in. Then I decided I didn't want 98 on it. I erased the files. I put in a Windows 95 boot disk and it still boots to 98 even though there are no files on the hard drive. It says "Type in command interpreter". I type something in but the message comes up again no matter what I type in. It won't let me do anything. I've typed in several commands but none work. How can I format my hard drive if I can't access it?

I just bought a computer system which has 512M of RAM and had option for free upgrade tp 1G. The sales guy told me I would be better off with the 512Mb as the 1 Gb he said was slower memory and unless I was going to have over 8 applications open at once, that the 512 Mb would be faster. Is this possible?

A few hours after I downloaded mozilla firefox web browser, my toshiba laptop crashed. I end up downloading a LOT of other things too (doujinshi, if you know what that is). I'm wondering if my laptop crashed because it can't handle switching browsers, or if I downloaded one-too-many things. I need to switch browsers in order to access a particular webpage, but if I can't, well... nothing to do...

If you need more info, just ask. I'm thankful for any answers.
