Make sure you want to reformat the computer before you do, moving all information to backup discs, because when you do the hard drive is wiped cleaned and all the memory is destroyed.

Call a local computer store or the manufacturer of your computer who should help you, quick and easy.

Make sure that this is REALLY what you want to do and that this is a NECESSARY thing to do. Have you tried a simple restore? Re-boot your computer and hold down the F10 key as it comes on. It'll ask you if you want a Full Restore (format and reinstall of OS) or Repair.Select what you want and pray that you remembered to back up all important data, your dll library and drivers onto other media (preferably CD's) and sit back and watch. Grab a sandwich and soda, it'll take awhile.

First off: back up any important data you may want to save -- then insert the install discs that came with your computer. This usually starts the process.
