I'm looking to purchase a tablet pc, but a customer reviewed the product as average for one reason and one reason only: there was no integrated bluetooth. What exactly does this feature enable you to do?

There are many devices that has bluetooth now. From my knowledge, there are mouse, keyboard, Wacom tablet, cell phones and PDAs, and many other things that support bluetooth. You basically use them wireless, so you don't need to have all those cables sticking out of your laptop and also it adds to mobility.

bluetooth is usually provided as an option with the wireless card wheather u choose it or not....is up to u acc there many usese of bluetooth but the primary use being able to synchronize with ur bluetooth enabled mobilephone or PDA as of the usefullness its completely up to u again and how u use it and its usefulness in day to day life there are also USB bluetooth adapters which provide the same function as the built in one at little cost

a lot of new laptops now come with the integrated bluetooth...it is a way of connecting remotely to other devices for eg a mobile phone...you can download pics and info from your phone to your laptop by switiching on the bluetooth options on both your laptop and the phone
