In floppy disk, right bottom corner of floppy disk there is a small slider button. It is adjusted in the surface of floppy disk which move up and down. when it is in down position, it means it is in write protected and when it is in up position, it means it is in not write protected. whenever we work with floppy disk it should be in "not write protected" it means slider button of the floppy disk should be in "up position".

If you look on the floppy closely you will find a little tab that can be moved. Change its position to opposite of what it is and it will no longer be write protected. Its on the opposite end of where you insert it into the drive in the corner
