With the AMD Processors, what's the difference in the designation of Venice or San Diego?

The specs seem the same to me.

Venice and San Diego are 2 different cores of the AMD Athlon 64 single core processors.
the difference is simply the size of the L2 cache
the Venice has 512kB and the San Diego has 1024kB (1MB)
