I tried to burn a movie with Nero Vision Express 3 it transcodes but when it begins to burn it just stops and throws the dvd back out at me and says there was an error... please help...

Have you tried a new DVD might be a bad blank dvd

This has happened to me before. When you burn a DVD at home there are two formats you can use the +R format and the -R format most DVD burners burn in a +R format and most DVD players play -R DVDs so its kinda Sukey. Check to see what format the disc you tried to burn it should be on the front of the disc then check to see in your computers instruction manual what format it burns in. If they both have the same format it could be the DVD you used was a dud so Try a fresh disc.

There are different "format" burners; +R/RW, -R/RW, HDTV, Blue Ray, +/-R/RW. (and this does NOT cover DL - Dual Layer or CD's)

First, check the burner specifications and be sure you have the right format discs for your burner. This is most likely your problem if everything works up to the burn point.

MOST players will play ALL formats.

i dun no but umhhhh try returning that thing or maybe look at the state of the DVD

try chk the speed and the format are not compatible
