Is it possible to sync your pc (windows) with your mac so that whenever a change is made to a certain folder on the windows platform that it is copied over to the mac. Almost virtualizing a backup HD system.

I dont know if it is possible but it would be a HUGE help because I am always updating my photos, mp3s, and videos on my PC and would love to have that same data present on my macbook and not have to worry about always sending it over.

Any help guys? Thanks!

Its a 16x's burner that i bought that goes on the outside and you hook it up with an usb connector. anyway. Its so so slow. is it suppose to be that slow? I use nero. Should i use another one? is their another one? Who would do the best quickest job.?

well i just plugged my external hard drive into my macbook via firewire cable and then i plugged it into my pc via usb and im getting a really weird noise. what is the problem with it? how can i fix it?it sounds like a tape casstette rewinding

i have just rebuilt my pc, now the light on the floppy stays on, i have swapped the ribbon round so the red strip is pointing to the prosessor, why does it stay on. it wont read any discs i put in it.

i changed from a 2.8gh m.board to a 3.3ghz m/board. now the pc is slower than before, the new one is a dual prosessor, is that the reasson why it is slow at loading, i have 512 ddr ram in one set of slots and nothing in the other set of slots. can you tell me why its so slow

My husband and I run a computer business out of our home and this past Tuesday someone came into our home and stole not only my laptop but 2 of my customers as well. What really bothers me is that my laptop had all of my busineeses accounting information on it as well as all of my family pictures. We usally back all of our info up to our server but it just so happened that the week before our server got a bug and we had to reformat it. It didn't dawn on me to reback everything up immediatley (with the holiday chaos and everything). I just wanted to know if anyone knows of a way to track down a computer. My husband and I are also a WISP for our neighborhhod so we have tried to track it down by mac address but to no avail as yet. The theifs also took some jewerly. the worst of it is we have a small shop about a 100 feet behind our house and this happened while my husband was in the shop working. I think it was kids but have had no luck getting the word out in the neighborhhod.

had a problem some how lost a NTLDR file tryed to re install from the master dvd. This was no help as nothing happend, it was supposed to reset to factory settings but never. i have a xp disc an was wondering is it wise to try install it, or will it work any help would be very helpful as i am using my old slow pc....thank you...and merry christmas

Custom system, i need alot of watts, pretty cheap, sli ready. How do i make sure they are compatible? Is it just the 24 pin i need to look at besides the wattage? And will it be compatible with all of the other parts in the custom computer? (like voltages and stuff). I understand everything else about computer componets, just not the power supplies.

My friend used this notebook Apple G3 in France, one day she give me this notebook, unfortunessly she do not remember the password for DVD Drive, I can not use the DVD Drive, because I live in Thailand, that mean the DVD Drive is blocking (different region)
