Its a 16x's burner that i bought that goes on the outside and you hook it up with an usb connector. anyway. Its so so slow. is it suppose to be that slow? I use nero. Should i use another one? is their another one? Who would do the best quickest job.?

There are some things that you should look at:

1) Do you have USB 1.1 or 2.0 on your computer? USB 2.0 will give you allow you to burn the movie in less than 10 minutes. Usually, you will see a reference to "hi-speed" on your system tray, when your computer loads up.

2) What is your media rated at? It sounds like you might be burning at 1x. 16x should allow you to burn around 6 minutes.

3) I would try another computer with the same burner and see what results you get. It's a good way to test to see if your burner is working or not.

External drives are so unpredictable. I always prefer internal drives. They are more reliable.
