I know this sounds silly but I can't figure out how to put the batteries in. The mouse is one of those that has a storage spot for the wireless reciever. Does anyone that has one know how to put the batteries in?

haha that's awesome! I did the same thing. Wife and I stared at it for 20 minutes scratching our heads. The area right behind the middle mouse had a place to get a fingernail under and the whole top came off. Good luck, many on the market, all different.

on the proper of the mouse - you spot the three v's (for loss of a greater effective description) push those down in the direction of the "returned" of the mouse. could be a slide door. this could open up the battery hollow area.
