Whats wrong with these wimps above my answer? There is nothing illegal about having a scanned picture of a peice of paper representing money. I say sure, go for it. Even better use a colour photocopier. Won't pass off as proper money to anyone with a brain, but you can probably fool idiots.

You could scan money, you could scan anything. It won't pass unless it's pressed though, and unless it's pressed onto the proper paper (which isn't even paper it's actually a type of fabric), so you won't go to jail unless you actually try paying for something with it.
