my laptop is way slow but my family insists on repairing it. how can i permanently destroy it so that its irrepairable?please help!..it has to look like its naturally broken down and not wrecked by some one .thanks!

CD is read,but when I double-click on SETUP.EXE, I get "setup.exe-Application Error. The application failed to initialize properly (Oxc0000005).Click on OK to terminate the app." Can't even run Win XP CD to refresh the installation--I get the same error. Same result on any installation disc. Forget virus and spyware problems--I've updated and run all the anti-virus and anti-spyware programs and the PC is clean. Everything else is working fine. CD drive plays music, reads and writes data.

am later going to buy an xbox 360 and i want to be able to play it at my computer desk so i will buy one of those LCD monitors with AV Jacks so i can plug the xbox 360 into there and LCD monitors are supposed to be really high detail so are they HD compatible or not?

A couple of days ago I started getting interference on the right hand side of my screen (Toshiba Satellite A30). Now that side has gone completely, replaced by vertical black, blue and white flickering stripes. Any ideas on what I can do to rescue it?

I need help with buying a webcam, because I bought a Philips webcam from Wal-Mart and it just doesn't give good video feed. The colors and brightness just looks weird. I keep all of my music on an external hard drive. For some reason, it decided to redub itself Drive K: instead of Drive I:. So now iTunes can't find any of my music because Drive I: doesn't exist anymore. Is there anyway I can rename the drive or have iTunes refind my music without going through each song and re-adding it?

I'm thinking its going to be somewhere in the ballpark of 400-700, but I'm not sure. Any ideas?

My computer has been freezing up and turning off a lot lately, and I had thought it might had been a virus or needing a new fan in my CPU, but I noticed last night that whenever my phone rang, my computer would freeze up and shut off. My phone was on the same desk as my computer, I then moved the phone across the room and my computer hasn't froze or turned off now a while, does anybody know the cause of this?

hey, well err.. i've had this nano since january. i've been connecting it my computer, it charges, but the problem is, it won't connect to itunes. when i check the prefs, all it says is "No iPod Connected"... then how can i get it to connect? Do I have to reset my ipod? because when you reset it you lose all your files, and i have no back-up files.
