hey, well err.. i've had this nano since january. i've been connecting it my computer, it charges, but the problem is, it won't connect to itunes. when i check the prefs, all it says is "No iPod Connected"... then how can i get it to connect? Do I have to reset my ipod? because when you reset it you lose all your files, and i have no back-up files.

The last time they said an ipod was connected, was when i connected my friend's ipod video to it.

Ure ipod charges cos the usb cable has power directly given off without any software required.

You have to install the USB driver for the iPod ( CD should be supplied with it) and make sure it gets detected by the operating system and then restart the pc and it should appear in the prefernces section of itunes.
