Living in ireland so things are more expensive, I have an iqon pc with 2.93Ghz processor and 128MB of RAM(400Mhz), how much would i have to pay for 1GB of RAM on a single module and a 160GB internal Hard Drive? also do you know of a reputable site that sells these items and has the prices displayed in €uros? Thank you very much in advance.

Try Newegg.com or TigerDirect.com... they do big business and have cheap prices.
Make sure you get 184 pin DDR memory (pay attention to whether you have PC3200 or PC2700 bandwidth). You might as well throw out the 128 piece and install the 1GB piece in it's place... 1 pc of 1GB is cheaper than two pcs of 512MB.
How in the world did you get a machine with such a fast processor and so little RAM??? Doesn't make sense.
Good luck.

Answering a bit late but better late then never. Right my shamrock cousin , two things, are you certian you only have 128mb ram? cos to me , the processor speed , bus dont match!
you could buy 1gb of ram for about 120euro .and a 160gb hdd for about 300 euros. One thing , if then say you decide to upgrade you monitor, consider buying a new pc.

hi epoch,
Go to http://www.pricewatch.com
The only places I saw were in the USA but it might be worth checking out the prices and see what international shipping might cost. It might pay.
Have you tried using a Yahoo.UK search for computer hardware. When I do searches, I periodically come across UK sites selling items at reasonable prices.
Good luck,
George
