What rights do i have as to make Verizon remove a Load Coil that is preventing me from getting dsl. My neighbors have it and others further down the road from me. They are charging me for dsl but i can't get it because of the load coil . The engeneer is refusing to remove it saying it is not worth his time.

am trying to get my work laptop which has a wireless card built in to work at home. It works fine wired at home through a VPN but I am trying to get it to work wireless.
I have opened internet expolorer and typed in http://192.168.1.1/
I changed the settings as directed from my workplace which included putting in a new WEP Key.
Now my laptop works but not my other home computers that worked before. In order to get these to work I have to go back and change the WEP Key and settings.
Is there a way that I can somehow allow both WEP keys to work without always changing the settings so my home computers work while I am on my work computer?

if I buy, say for example, Linksys WRT54G Wireless-G Router, Access Point, Firewall and 4-Port 10/100 Switch, and I want to create a wireless network, could I do that with this and not have to use a PC, like I do for my router? Like hook the modem directly to this, and have access to the network, without using a PC. I am getting 2 laptops, and i want to be able to have a network, without having to use my PC, or hook it up to the laptops. is this what this equipment is for?

Most people get internet access through cable which is anywhere from 1.5 Mbps to 6 Mbps. So why do we need 802.11g wireless networking speed which has a theoretical throughput of 54 Mbps if we're limited by the cable speed of 1.5 to 6 Mbps?

I've always forwarded my ports in this way, and it's always worked. But now, for some reason, uTorrent says the ports aren't forwarded, and my download speed is reduced to 30kb/s on a 4MB connection.

Help please.

So I'm connecting my hope computer to my company's VPN and also outlook exchange. However It's downlaoding all my e-mails from the server and not synchronizing......just deleting them from the main server.

How do I get it to synchronize? I know there is a way, because I did it to my lap top.....but that was long time ago..... Help!!! hahaha....

Keep in mind this is an exchange server account...not your typical pop 3... I don't have the option to click the check box that states "Keep e-mail on server" like a pop 3 accoutn does.

if you need to talk to me in detail with it...my e-mail is

At work, I have a specific IP address that I need to use. However, when I go back home, I need to connect to my wireless network via automatic configuration (ie: obtain IP address automatically). As a result, everyday I have to go into Internet Connection Properties and enter the IP address if I'm at work, or delete it if I'm back at home. I've tried simply placing it in "Alternate Config" - but at work it won't work. Is there any program or way of just storing these settings, so when I connect to my network at work the computer will automatically use a specific IP address - but when I connect at my other network at home it will just switch back to automatic config?

I cant seem to setup a home network. Right now both PCs are setup fine to go online etc. I have a desktop that is connected to the interent and a laptop that is wireless which is connected to the router. Basically I want to print from the laptop. I dont think when I set the router up I had set a network up. On the desktop I created something in My Network Places on windows XP for shared docs but for some reason on the laptop I cant connect to it. The laptop is XP Professional, so how can I connect the laptop to the desktop to print? (The printer is connected to the desktop)
