What rights do i have as to make Verizon remove a Load Coil that is preventing me from getting dsl. My neighbors have it and others further down the road from me. They are charging me for dsl but i can't get it because of the load coil . The engeneer is refusing to remove it saying it is not worth his time.

So you are paying for DSL you are not getting? You can't be charged for services that are not delivered that is called theft!

Is Verizon also the phone company you are using? If not, you need to call the LINE company, that is who put the Load Coil on your line. They may have had to for reasons only they can explain. If Verizon is both your phone company and your DSL company get the service department on the phone and see if they can FIX the issue, if not, demand a refund on all the DSL charges!

DSL only works if the lines are in good condition and within a certain length from the connection point. If they can't deliver, why would you pay?

There may be a lot of line noise that they are trying to mitigate with a coil. I would either keep resubmitting a trouble ticket for voice line noise and bend the techs ear a bit or see if they would provide biz dsl (higher cost yes) but they may work with you.
