when I type "ipconfig/all more" I need a vertical line in front of "more" how do I type it?

Well, hold down shift, and then type the \ | key.

Like so:

ipconfig /all | more

The | should be on top of the \ on your keyboard, if it's not there, try and \ . It should work anyway.

Oh yeah, and if you want it to stay on the screen then first go to the "Run..." box and type in CMD. Then in the little black box that shows up, type "ipconfig /all | more".

Instead of the ipconfig command, in the Run box type the word:cmd

This will make the Command Prompt window open and stay open until you close it. They you can type the ipconfig /all without needing the more. You will be able to use the scroll bar on the side to move up and down if needed to see everything.

That is easier then using the | more

start run type CMD

then type

ipconfig/all
