I can no longer connect to the internet or login to the router after attempting to update its firmware. Reset button and shutting off (and odd combinations of the two lasting up to 3 minutes) does not fix the device. I need some way of putting the right firmware on the device. Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

Hi, I need to share a USB device over the Internet, the client and the server communicate from behind routers, I can't get them to connect, and I can't play with port forwarding of the server side. Is there any way to connect the 2 PCs without port forwarding? like VPN or SOCKS proxy?

I had used firefox to go into the firewall router, I downloaded what I at least thought was the update and was uploading it to the router when it stopped working. I can no longer connect to the internet through it and when I go to 192.168.1.1 I get the same message (this server cannot be found or whatever). how do I really really reset it? like to the original version

I’ve recently set up the TVersity on my computer in order to watch some movies on my TV, via my Xbox 360. I’ve got all the correct codec’s and every thing is set up the way it is supposed to be as far as every setup or troubleshooting guide I’ve consulted is concerned. So far it will only stream music to my Xbox, every time I try to play a movie it locks up and says that the Xbox has lost contact with my computer. At the same time TVersity stops sharing and shuts down. I’ve looked at lot of different forums and guides but no one seems to know why this is happening . I’ve run out of ideas so any help you could give would be great.

My friend just got a new computer and wants to transfer her songs (around 2000) from her desktop to her laptop without having to back them up to a CD or re-downloading them. Is there a cord she can buy? If so, is there some software she needs with it?

I have a domain setup in 'building A'. Rather than have the extra work and expense of setting up a second server in 'Building B', located about 10 miles away, is there a way that the computers in 'Building B' can join the domain in 'Building A'? I tried setting the primary DNS on one of the remote PCs as the domain server's IP, but I still can't connect to the domain.

i had 2 units of pc which is both had windows xp pro sp2, trying to make home network. but the thing is I failed to do so.
I set the computer name on each pc, had the same workgroup name, and had set ip addresses.
When I try to browse the network neighborhood i cannot see the other computer or even myself. I try pinging the ip addresses, but it is unreachable host destination. I am pretty sure that my both computers are working well. cause I tried it on the other network with internet connection with DHCP enabled.
the problem only exist when my 2 computers are connected with specified ip address.
moreover, i am using 3com switch.
can anyone help me, give me ideas what's really going on and to solve it? thank you in advance.

From my internet provider, the speed of my internet is up to 1.5Mbps..... I wanna buy a wireless router so I can surf internet in my other bedroom... I searched the internet... it has a lot of choices of router... the latest one wireless N routers or some so-called speedbooster, as it claims, are up to 100 - 300Mbps. Does it matter to me what router I buy as my internet provider is only up to 1.5Mbps? For example, if i get a wireless N, will I get 300Mbps or 1.5Mbs? Thanks.

My two computers (laptop and desktop) comes with a wireless adapter (from Intel). I wanna buy a wireless router. Does it has to be from Intel as well so that the adapter are "matched" with the router? Thanks.
