I have a HP laptop and I want to connect with my cousin's computer. It says I require their "security key or passphrase" and she said ok, so where would I find that on her computer? Where do I look for the passphrase or whatever is it?

Work on your cousin's computer on the following steps:

If you're using a router:
1. Go to Start >> Run. Type cmd.
2. In the black window, type ipconfig then hit enter.
3. get the default gateway number.
4. open internet explorer and type the default gateway numbers and hit on enter
5. you will have your router's page. look for the wireless tab or anything that says "wireless".
6. you should see the key there.

Hi there.
If you can't go to the default gateway numbers, make sure that your internet explorer has no proxy setting.
1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Go to Tools >> Internet Options
3. Go to Connections tab
4. Click on LAN Settings
5. Uncheck everything.
6. Try going to the numbers again.
